Christina Kontogiannis, Licensed Sales Associate and Steed Real Estate Team Member.

A native of Queens, NY, my parents, my sister, brother and I moved to Millerton eight years ago. Shortly thereafter our family opened “Christina’s Garden” in Millerton, a Family Restaurant featuring Greek Specialty Foods. I help manage this restaurant today but  have recently taken some time to pursue my education in real estate marketing and sales.

My Father was born in Greece and Mom was born in Austria, making our family international with a flavor of New York as well. I have traveled to Greece with my parents enjoying the many wonderful sights there, including the extraordinary historical architecture. It may have been there that my interest in interior design and structure was born; or it may have been when the family was renovating the early 1900s home which is now part of the restaurant complex. Then again, the new construction, design and décor of the restaurant and detached apartment kept my interest and I enjoyed watching the daily progress.

I now hope to combine my love of interior design, historical restoration and the communication skills I have learned at Christina’s Garden with my new career in real estate.
