A current resident of Northeast, Stephen was previously an Assessor for the Town. Stephen is the third generation to work on his family farm while attending college, with an eye to a degree in history.  Stephen plans to remain local and to teach today's youth the importance of their own history as well as the history of this area, the nation and world at large.

Stephen won't brag about his accomplishments; but that gives us the opportunity to let others know just what a special person he is.  Stephen threw himself into local politics at the tender age of 18, was a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, was certainly the youngest assessor the Town ever had, went back to school for his real estate license training, took extensive appraisal courses (though they were not mandatory), continued his education while working on the family farm; all before he turned twenty.

Later Stephen, who was also working at the Gap Distribution Center in Fishkill, NY, transferred to California for a year to see what he could learn there.  We were sure happy his New York roots were deep-set and Stephen decided to return to Northeast, Millerton and Steed Real Estate.

Stephen is ever reliable.  If Stephen tells you he'll take care of it, look it up, study it, or get back to you; he will do it in record time. No need to ask him twice!!!! Stephen is sensitive to your needs and you can count on him to keep matters confidential.

Though Stephen and I are a generation apart, we count him among our contemporary friends. Now at 31, he is a wonderful combination of an old soul with the enthusiasm and wonder of the young.  Stephen has a keen eye for keeping this area green while finding alternative ways to meet the housing needs of locals who would like to remain and newcomers looking for their country dream.
