Victoria Perotti is a very busy woman with deep compassion for her home town and its residents. Mrs. Perotti believes in putting her efforts in motion and is not content to sit back and comment on local government.

Victoria (Vicki) Perotti, a 30 year plus resident of Amenia, has 21 years experience in health care services. She is currently a contract coordinator for a medical insurance company.

Vicki was also recently elected to a four-year term as a Town Board member for Amenia.

She wants to convene a task force on emergency services to see what can be done about the lack of volunteers joining the rescue squads. "We need to see what[incentive] programs other fire companies in other towns are using" to retain volunteers, Perotti said. "We need to see what the cost is and do some analysis to see what fits Amenia."

Vicki knows her territory, the farms and farm families, she understands the reasons for the area's recent growth and she is anxious to contribute to the future commercial and residential  development with an eye to preserving open space and the agricultural flavor of the community.
